Governors Porkchop and Bourbon are certainly a pair to draw to.

Drawing to those two is like attempting to win at stud poker by drawning to fill an inside straight when one of your opponents already has three aces showing.

That a "strategist" tops Mike Huckabee's list of what to look for in a GOP presidential canidate speaks volumes about what GOPers will be working on. So far it's been a decades long fight against the Constitution, the First Amendment Right, and the Freedom of Information Act, no doubt a "strategists" will be valuable, but just as soon as those are "taken care of" the economy might get some attention.

So he has no ability to run the Country but he knows how to politic. Great candidate Huck!

At this point wouldn't it be disappointing if none of the current GOPers opted NOT to run? There is so much potential for the campaigns here (potential for disaster, but still). I would like to see them have a go at each other, and given their general or natural viciousness for anything Democrat or the President, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

We do NOT want "brilliant political strategists." We want a person who will serve us and our country. We are through with those who seek office to further an agenda, their own, or corporate interests.

It's 'Terrorist Fist Jab". And no, because you can't be a terrorist if you have white skin, (so I'm told).

He's fist-pumping Barbour through picture...isn't that sweet. Way to give a shout out for being the most brilliant strategist in America today...and that he'd run a good campaign because he's good at making money and using his contacts...oh man. The Republican's don't even hide it anymore...they're just going to try and buy the election

I love how this Huckster's main concern is fundraising and strategizing for the election. While I understand the importance of the two in formulating victory shouldn't the main concern be issues/beliefs and not dollars/cents? I will never forget Huckster wanting to capture Assange (non American citizen) and execute/imprison the man for treason. Power hungry much? He will not have my vote...no way, never.

Does no one here see the beauty in this? Two men finding such a great passion for each other? I wish them well and will even offer them the use of my home should they wish to come to a State which recognizes their right to marriage.

Smart move mister Huckabee. Very smart move. Haley of course gives you his rolodex and access to his contacts as he doesn't run. Again: veryvery smart move. Like a FOX. How shrewd.

So, fundraising is the most important skill for a candidate. Unfortunately, I think he is correct.

No governor of a failed state is going to go anywhere Can you see him holding MIssissippi up as an example of what he can do for the US???? Actually that is exactly what the repubs want the US to look like. American take a look at what that Europeans and Candian have done for their people and economies. The canadian barely even felt the last crash. Why???

It's a sad comment on a party when their candidate will not be chosen by voter enthusiasm, but by who is considered the least offensive to the majority of the electorate.
