I knew this newt is a sleezy guy. Whew, he was accusing Clinton while he himself was doing it.

Who will vote for this guy? Anybody who votes for this guy should have their head examined otherwise, allied or condoned this kind of behavior. It's depicable.

What a dirty little man! The moment a spouse gets ill, he hits the road. I would not like him to be president.

He is such a hypocrite! I think most intelligent voters will realize that.

Coincidentally, I just read the article on AOL this morning about Dr. Robert Hare and his studies on psychopathy. Newt is either in total denial or, like most psychopaths, is well-aware of where he would fall on Dr. Hare's psychopathy scales...but again, like most psychopaths, he just doesn't care...because he is totally incapable of caring about anyone or anything but himself.

I used to wonder how people like that could live with themselves. I guess it's easy if you cannot comprehend human feelings and emotion, which is perhaps the biggest problem I have with the Republican agenda, especially with respect to their "approach" to social issues.

Marriages #1 and #2 both lasted 18 years. So...2018 should be it for #3. Yet...Gingrich is a "serious" candidate and Ron Paul, married 53 years and counting, is not? Why? Because Ron Paul is against aggressive war and torture so he must not be a good Christian. Gingrich supports the wars and the torture so he must be a good Christian.

Anullments are only based on one party was not free to consent anyway. I think we can say Newt and Ginther were married of their own free will.

n the Roman Catholic Church, annulment is a canonical procedure according to the Church's Canon Law whereby an ecclesial tribunal judges whether the bond of matrimony in a particular case was entered into validly. The Church presumes that a marriage is valid until proven otherwise. Annulment is not the ecclesial equivalent of a divorce. A "Declaration of Nullity" is not a dissolution of an existing marriage, but rather a determination that a marriage was not entered into validly. -Wikipedia

Newt's supporters will believe (because Newt will frame it this way) that the annullment is a done deal simply because he asked for it. Non-Catholics don't understand the number of hoops that have to be jumped through to obtain an annullment in the Catholic church; just 'cause Newtie wants it doesn't mean he'll get it (and I'll be surprised if he does). He'll just carry on acting like he got one anyway and his followers will willingly accept that's it's true.
10:59 AM on 05/18/2011
What rock are you hiding under??? The Church WON'T give him an annulment? This is 2011. It just depends on how much money he's willing to 'contribute' to the Church!LMAO!

Annulment is just a slippery way for Catholics to ditch a marriage one of them no longer wants without being excommunicated. What human being has the knowledge that a marriage was not entered into validly???? A priest--another human who pretends to be omniscient and able to read the will of God??? God IS God and no human can know His plans and opinions, or
exercise judgements as if being God. The world did not end on May 21, and he who predicted it is NOT a Christian. He was playing God. Catholic hierarchy plays God. Annulment is a joke.

Ummmmmm. "Battley was his geometry teacher, and seven years his senior. (According to Gingrich's second wife Marianne Ginther, the age difference was actually nine years--Gingrich was 16 when the student-teacher courtship began)."

The "difference" between two people's age doesn't change. If she was "seven years his senior", she will ALWAYS BE seven years older. What kind of math are we using here?

That wasn't being questioned...did you not notice the conjunction, "and"? It may be awkward, but I think it is still grammatically-correct..

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate."

Poor Newton, confusing satyriasis with patriotism.

What do you think he would have said if Bill Clinton had tried to use that same excuse?
08:27 AM on 05/13/2011
If Newt wins the presidency he can put Monica Lewinsky into Hillary's slot. Look for an all female cabinet. He loves his women - - all of them.

Say it isn't so! He is so full of s**t, having his first wife served with divorces papers when she was in the hospital recovering from uterine cancer. I hate to say this, but what did the second wife expect, it's karma baby! Wife #3 had better watch out, because karma is a m*****f****!!!
