CLOSER TO AN ACCEPTABLE REPUBLICAN THAN ANY

BUT WHO WOULD TRUST ANY MORMON AT ALL until the lds machine makes amends for its political lying, tricks, manipulation, and so on? They continue to support bad groups such as NOM.

YES, I WOULD give more benefit of the doubt to a member of another religion. Huntsman is a bit insulated by his wealth, but the general story is that they press for conformity and against challenging anything the 80+ yr old mean guys in SLC say. Ostracism, and the threat of it, is a fine art to them.

As a former Mormon, I agree with you. Any adult who stays with that Church is not thinking rationally.

I'm not terribly fond of castigating leaders based on their religious preferences.  May I remind you all, that our current Senate leader has just begun his sixth term, and when was the last time you heard Reid use his position to promote his faith?

Sorry, you don't understand

1-- this is the MOST conformist, except maybe the Amish. NOT comparable to Episcopalians or whatever. They shoved Prop 8 up the rear of Californians with lies and fear tactics.
2-- the point is NOT....when was the last time you heard Reid use his position to promote his faith..... It's taking a chance on a NEW mormon to not follow what SLC tells him. Reid would not be Reid if his family were in Ogden, etc, anyhow.

Once they keep refusing to admit that they are manipulating US politics, why trust any of the members who allow it?

Really wishy-washy. Does this guy believe in anything? At least Obama has a little bit of vision that he is willing to stake himself on.

According to the article, he's sticking to the positions he's stuck to in the past, even if they're potentially damaging. What position do you believe he's reversed himself on?

The reason he speaks Chinese so well is that he was born in you-know-where.

Let the Hunts Man be the Hunts Man. He's the Manchurian candidate, a right-wing extremist trying to disguise himself as a Socialist.

The greatest disadvantage Mr Huntsman has is the fact that he seems to be a reasonable individual who is willing to negotiate with those on the other side of the aisle. This will certainly doom him with the radical element of the GOP who as we all know have seemingly lost the!r m!nd.

Sorry. Half of registered Republicans literally cannot vote for Huntsman under penalty of losing their souls. That's even prescinding that he's not acceptably socially conservative. Sorry. No can do. Really, sorry.
