It seems corruption, fraud, and legal theft is the only way politicians can make it in the U.S.

It must be nice to be part of a group where the rules do not apply to you.

Our system of governing is broken, our financial system in corrupt and broken, our judicial system in corrupt, and all branches of government are corrupt.

There is very little to be proud of about this country.

There is nothing Federal about the Federal Reserve.

The Patriot is Unpatriotic.

The Homeland Security Act is an attack on our Freedom.

There is no Liberty and Justice for all.

The Supreme Court has been bought by corporations.

The MIC is not fighting wars, it is empire building.

CEOs run this country.

It makes a person want to scream and vomit at the same time.

Sorry, meant to say the Patriot Act is Unpatriotic.

That the voters of my state dumped a good and principled man for this poser and charlatan makes me both ashamed and angry. He has a somewhat ghostly appearance and his performance in the Senate matches that appearance. Six years is an awfully long sentence the voters have given themselves. Will that be a time for reflection and learning. I doubt it. Johnson has the perfect last name to ride the incumbency gravy train into the Goetterdaemerung he'll help bring about.

That's good and now the hard work begins to take advantage of the power of recall. Good Luck. The rest of the country is watching.

If only Feingold could be convinced to run against Obama in the primary, the progressives would have themselves a practical candidate that could win against the extremlicans. I'm not so sure Obama can win. But... why would Feingold want to, all things considered.
How about a Governor Russell Feingold in 2012 for Wisconsin?

You mean you want someone from the Democratic wing of the Democratic party??

I'll second that.
03:52 PM on 06/24/2011
or perhaps a Labor Party!
04:01 PM on 06/24/2011
I was hoping that Obama woud pick Feingold as his VP for the 2nd term. But the other WI senator, Herb Kohl, is retiring after his current term which ends in 2012 so I assume Feingold will run for that office.

Did I read this right? The CEO of a PAC runs for office. He makes an agreement with himself, sometime, for the PAC to pay what turns out to be $1 million more than his own personal investment in his campaign - to himself after he steps down as CEO to become Senator.

Looking at it backwards: I'll pay myself $10 Million if I win the seat I spent $9 million to get. If I don't win, I won't step down and I'll still pay myself $10 million.

Show me the paperwork on your way to the ethics committee.
