If Iran keeps rattling the nuclear sword, their next catastrophe will make the Iran-Iraq war look like a stroll in a garden.

we need to quit worrying about this idots mouth and start taking his missle systems out, the sanctions are not working. we also focus on libya even the international courts do while syria continutes to kill its on people. last time i looked syria supports iran, hamas and the palistines. Ahmadinejad is a psychopathic narcissist. He will continue to push the giant until it flattens him.
Iran will become one big black smoldering hole in the ground where nothing will grow for one hundred years.

Iran is a case of the fanatical far right, the Islamist far right, the ideological far right and the militarized far right competing with one another for power. There's not much hope for meaningful change no matter who comes out on top.

"Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran's irascible, unpredictable but devout president, may be forced to resign in the coming weeks as a political crisis far greater than the massive street violence which followed his re-election in 2009 threatens to overwhelm him and his court favourites in the government."

We can only hope.

As long as the ultimate "power" in a country is in the hands of Clerics that honestly believe themselves to be the hands of God, what hope is there for any secular politician? Middle -eastern Islamic nations can never hope to truly join the 21st-century community as long as these men continue to be "esteemed".

Sometimes there is an attempt to take The United States down this same path but, thankfully, there are enough people who are smart enough to know that that would, indeed, be an ugly, dangerous place to go. I believe there is nothing to fear from those who believe in God (or a god). But those who claim that whom they believe in is whom we should all believe in? That's where they lose me. Faith is defined as belief without proof. And I cannot compel others to have faith in the things I have faith in. Religion is not, in and of itself, evil. But there are plenty of people who use religion as a weapon and do heinous things to their fellow human beings.

Why on Earth would a civil war be good? You think innocent people dying and the destruction of a country is a good thing? You must not be human.

Saw interview on MSNBC about Michele Bachmann, the journalist claimed that Michele Bachmann holds the view that the US was intended to be a theocracy, and will move in that direction. Assuming the accuracy of the information ..... this is one of the front-runners for the nomination from the party of Lincoln in Iowa polls. How far they have fallen.
10:29 AM on 06/29/2011
Two huge mistakes in your post already. MSNBC doesn't tell the truth and second I heard from a friend who said gas is free. A journalist claimed "REALLY" . There are no journalist on any Lame Stream Media network especially any NBC . They are all hacks.

So tell me DrObvious what does this statement have to do with this article. Why can't you just make comments about this article and save the other BS for stories that your comments pertain to. No very obvious huh.

What a clearly dishonest person Ahmadinejad is. How anyone cannot see through him is beyond me. I hope that the youth of Iran, with a progressive tone and spirit, can change things or at least begin to change them.

Hardly any difference between him and our leaders, except our leaders are much better liars.

Most Americans can't see through them.
