A note to all undocumented journalist Jose Antonio Vargas and other young people without legal status, go home and come back into my country legally and I will welcome you will open arms. I am tired of Government spending my hard earn tax dollars to support you when those dollars can be spent for such things as upgrading our education system. You want something for nothing and I am not here to support you for that.

It's not your country. If you want your own country, where you can make pithy declarations, buy an island and leave the civilized people alone.

My, my my, what a crotchety temperamental individual. Did mommy take your pacifier away from you when your were 21 or did she just forgot to change you diaper? Regardless, this is my country and I fought in the military for this country and disserve the right to call it such. Even though I can afford to buy an island, I prefer to live in MY COUNTRY. Now, please go home.

ATLANTA (AP) - Seven illegal immigrants arrested while blocking a downtown Atlanta street have been instructed to perform community service.

An Atlanta municipal court judge on Wednesday agreed to the penalty. The seven are charged with violating two city ordinances: obstructing traffic and prohibited conduct during assembly. An assistant solicitor says the charges will be dropped once they complete their community service.

The young people were arrested Tuesday, after they sat in the middle of a downtown street for more than an hour.

They protested to bring national attention to the issue of equal access to higher education for illegal immigrants.

Police told The Associated Press Tuesday eight protesters had been arrested, but the court said Wednesday it was seven.

U.S. immigration authorities have not said whether they'll pursue action against the protesters.

This man is not an "undocumented" person, he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN, no matter how the PC crowd tries to put a spin on it. Call it like it is, and stop trying to pretty it up in order to slide it by the citizens of the USA. It ain't working, folks. We are not as stupid as you think!
The law is the law, even if the feds refuse to enforce it!

Another little item that is never mentioned. Tucson and Phoenix are stuck with tens of thousands of empty houses. Many illegals bought houses under their stolen identities, then maxed out HELOCs, stripped the houses of air conditioners, doors, windows, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing and fixtures then bolted back to Mexico with the money.

A lot of house flippers / investers have done that too. After maxing out home equity loans, while also collecting rental income, they didn't make the mtg payments. Most of the foreclosures in my area (central Tx) are not homeowners.

If you live in TX you come across illegal aliens a lot. You might find several outside a Home Depot or Lowe's available to work as carpenters on a project you're building, too bad for the U.S. citizen carpenter who is unemployed or only working part time because of the illegals. Same for citizens who are seeking jobs in auto repair, warehouse jobs, restaurants etc.. Do you know who these citizens are; they're white, black, hispanic and asian U.S citizens. High school students looking for their first jobs and family members just trying to get by. Figure 14 million U.S. citizens unemployed trying to get jobs in competition with over 8 million illegal workers.
07:24 PM on 06/29/2011
if it were not for those illegals those jobs would not be filled, no one wants those jobs and the illegals are more dependable. Check out a construction site sometime and tell me who it is that is doing the labor

We need to enforce all our CURRENT immigration laws......and adopt the immigration laws of mexico...........Under the Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be imprisoned for 10 years. Visa violators can be sentenced to six-year terms. Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.

The law also says Mexico can deport foreigners who are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” violate Mexican law, are not “physically or mentally healthy” or lack the “necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents.

“Mexico wants people to come to the United States and to send their money home,” he said. “They want to make their problems our problems — that’s their foreign policy. President Calderon should spend more time focusing on problems in his own country instead of criticizing Arizona for doing what Mexican law requires its own to do.”

Calderon and all his SUPER RICH buddies want the dirt poor, illiterate, donkey riders to go to the USA and send all those US dollars home to mexico.........all part of his master plan.......he speaks out against US immigration laws.....but his own countries laws are 100 times tougher than our state laws.............think about it...................

Yes I have see the welcome wagon mexico has for people that enter mexico illegally.
I have seen 25 central Americans in their knees with M16's pointed at their heads as more were being subdued by mexican soldiers. Someone was taking photos of the people who had been beaten and they had their camera confiscated by the military. They had blocked the toll that we were trying to get through, oh it was a nightmare.

America's Third War: Texas Farmers Under Attack at the Border

In Texas, nearly 8,200 farms and ranches back up to the Mexican border.

The men and women who live and work on those properties say they’re under attack from the same drug cartels blamed for thousands of murders in Mexico.

“It’s a war, make no mistake about it,

Texas farmers and ranchers produce more cotton and more cattle than any other state

“Farmers and ranchers are being run off their own property by armed terrorists showing up and telling them they have to leave their land,” Staples said

To raise awareness, Commissioner Staples launched the website ProtectYourTexasBorder.com. It’s a place where frustrated and scared farmers can share their stories.

One Texas farmer, who asked not to be identified, said it’s common for him to see undocumented immigrants walking through his property.

“I see something, I just drive away,” he said. “It is a problem, I’ve learned to live with it and pretty much, I’ve become numb to it.”

Another farmer, Joe Aguilar, said enough is enough. After walking up on armed gunmen sneaking undocumented immigrants into the United States through his land, Aguilar decided to sell his farm.“It’s really sad to say, you either have to beat ‘em or join ‘em and I decided not to do either,” Aguilar said.

Aguilar's family farmed 6,000 acres of land along the Texas-Mexico border for nearly 100 years.

“Our farmers and ranchers can’t afford their own security detail

If there's a war we Americans belong in, it's the "border war" between Mexico and us. We need to help those Texans, Az,etc.....there has to be an answer to this decades old problem.....I know that the drug cartels make so much money that it's impossible.....my friend who lived in Az. all her life just recently got her family up and moved to Pa. because it got so bad on the border.....Americans are killed everyday. We have to raise consciousness and find a solution to this terrible problem.

Okay MEDIA, stop trying to soften the population to illegals by "sugarcoating" it and using the term undocumented. Illegal is illegal regardles of your terminology. That said, how in the world can we allow illegals to pressure our government, let alone our pesident, to do anything?

Very True

The United States put a human embargo on the Chinese with the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, and that was to regulate Chinese immigration. In 1885, the restrictions got tighter, and only 22 entered the US. There is no reason that illegal immigrants should get any sympathy here. The US government isn't to blame for their deportation; their parent's broke the law by sneaking them into the country.

The only way I support the dream act is if they serve in the military for those two years. For this case, I can't say national guard or coast guard count because it's too easy for corruption to spread if what would be illegal immigrants are made to protect the borders and welfare of the country whilst living in it. As far as university goes, I'm ok with it as long as they apply as an INTERNATIONAL student, not US or state resident.
