Go Hogs!

If you can win at Arkansas you deserve to be on this list.

The best football coaches do the most with the least. Outside of TCU, Boise State and Stanford, I'd be looking at coaches in the lower divisions.

Boise St. just got cheating and TCU is a flash in the pan. If you're looking at coaches in the lower divisions, they are playing against coaches that face the same limitations in scholarships and facillities. Your post is flawed

Successful coaches from non-marquee schools either develop talent from players who started out as marginal or locate talent the big boys missed. They all adapt their tactics based on the talent or lack of talent available, therefore they consistently beat other coaches operating under the same limitations. They have to work harder and be more creative, you dispute that?

I guess the list was made up before the Brian Kelly meltdown this past weekend when he may or may not have surprised the good fathers at Notre Dame with his extensive Anglo Saxon vocabulary. However he did promise to be good in the future so I guess everyone can move on and forget this unfortunate incident. We still don't have a satisfactory answer as to who exactly ordered that student photographer to go up in that lift under those unsafe conditions which resulted in his death. It is clear that the student was unwilling to go but someone ordered him up there and I don't think it was the ND team manager.

sonny- excellent post, i am glad "i got you" for some great football sarcasm this seasson. kelly looked like the only slightly less primordial vrsion bob knight with his rage outbursts. ..this incident will die down, but what does that do to early season team chemistry??? and isnt kelly the same coach who resumed practice on the same feied that poor notre dame photographer.student fell to his death in that windstorm?..and btw- notre's dames shameless investigation concluded; "all were at fault; no one specific will be blamed".. GO BLUE!

As a Tiger fans, Les Miles scares me sometimes...He does have a great record at LSU though.
