People covet what they can't have but you do, even if they don't really want it.

It does matter how ugly the stuff is, as long as it carries the name Missoni. That makes a lot of people who cannot afford to buy the pricier items at the Madison Avenue store feel good about themselves.

Only fools would way that stuff and assist others in their greed.

I work there.

There were about a dozen pairs of those boots on the display at regular price yesterday. Most of them were returned by people who bought them the day of the rollout.

IS TARGET'S MARKETING DEPT. BEHIND THIS CHARADE? If so, brilliant! Give 'em a raise for this one!

When I was a kid, a friend of mine from the States was in college somewhere or other in South America. She was from a big (and very smart) family who helped her pay her tuition by sending her a few pairs of Levi jeans each month to resell for crazy high prices in SA. She easily paid her tuition and had money to spare. :)

I lived in Czechoslovakia in 1980 and Levis were currency. We gave them to the locals in payment for meat and food that was not on the grocery store shelves.
05:03 PM on 09/24/2011
You and my friend seem to share a real sense of entrepreneurship, as does the mom who bought and then sold this junk on ebay. But I think the people who bought the Levis were certainly getting a much better item/bargain for their money!! It's just utterly nutty to spend that kind of money on stuff from Target.

Interesting and I belive it.

I was looking at this and past collections of Missoni. I just don't get it, it's HIDEOUS. I've even been up close to the stuff in Filene's Basement (Where even marked down it's $1000). It just doesn't get better no matter which angle you look at it.

Why? Aping in cheap reproductions is still just aping. SO many other places to shop for one of a kind, or well designed and made things. . .

Well, if someone is stupid enough to pay that, she is proving that "greed is good." I guess.

These clothes are an insult to American designers. The stores buying & selling them are greedy &
have no class.People are losing there homes while the idiots are buying this JUNK.This stuff is the
ugliest batch of stuff I (and alot more people) have ever seen.Only shows theres alot of people who
live here that are brainless. These are the same people who put the liers & thieves in charge of
running our once Great Country into self destruction. Greed Greed.Shame on you.

I don't like the zig zag look. How unflattering. The pattern would make a nice throw rug...but not dress.
