Crane.tv's team was backstage during London Fashion Week and again spent time with one of the UK's more beloved designers, Sir Paul Smith.

Smith has expanded his brand into everything from stationary to furniture and housewares, but clothing is still his main business. This season, he took his cues from menswear and the collection was full of neckties, short jackets, and belted boyfriend trousers. Smith also infused his love of art into his work and Shekha Vyas, Crane.tv's journalist observed "His love of art was seen in the variety of prints he used, and also by the myriad of artwork displayed in the venue." She also added, "The collection began very structured and then transitioned into something rather floaty, and this transition was a gradual change that embodied the masculine to feminine theme he was trying to explore."

Here is a quick glimpse into the backstage world of Paul Smith's Spring Summer 2011 collection on Crane.tv
