MTV's Jersey Shore: Inside The Italy House

Posted: 08/03/2011 4:01 pm

Ah, yes. It's that time of year again, folks! The Jersey Shore gang is at it again. This season, we get to see how they inevitably tortured the residents of Florence with their seemingly never-ending drama. I am more intrigued by where they are living, though! MTV was kind enough to supply me with a bunch of photographs so I could give you a sneak peek inside the house before Thursday night's season 4 premiere!

I've made my own comments and I would love to hear yours. Rate the rooms along with me!

Ciao!

XO
Courtney

Not sure, looks like a foyer. A marked improvement thus far over last year's digs, don't you think? The topiary feels more Home Goods and less Florence, just saying..

I would LOVE to know what colors are on all the walls and how they got that look!?!?!? I especially love the kitchen wall color!

I love this post - and your prior posts featuring the chic (less) J-Shore houses. The Italy house is a LARGE step of from both the Miami and Jersey Shore houses (ick). At least the the Italy house has a touch of class (unlike the cast - however, the show is my secret vice)!

Did you really expect "style and taste"? The decor matches the clothes they wear and personalities. Someone did their homework finding that hideous place.

i think Ms Cachet did expect style and taste, if it were to "be" Florence. were you the art director?

wait a sec, were they really "accidentally mocking" Florence, or, seriously mocking the "talent"?
(and if anything gets smashed who cares)

I love Florence, it's my favorite Italian city to rent an apartment when I visit Italy. The apartment you feature here is probably very expensive to rent (I'd say about $5,000 U.S./week) . .

People in Florence are wonderful, intelligent, modern and elitist. Can't believe they accepted The Jersey Shore group as 'Italians' because they are not in the least representative of Italians in Italy. I think the Jersey Shore group are Sicilians and people from Florence are not very accepting of Sicilians. Truthfully, I would be embarrassed to watch any episode from Italy . .

they've accepted them as a novelty - not as Italians.

What a stupid reality show. I'll never watch it from what I've read it's nothing about a bunch of teenagers and young yuppies without a clue in the world. What a waste of TV's money.

Got to the kitchen and cannot go one step further. Going to go lay down.

Take ALL the furniture out, including that horrible kitchen table, redo the walls that are dark purple and dark green, and get rid of that awfull black and white check floor,,, then begin again with someone who has style and taste!

I was looking forward to this season because I was expecting that the house as well as the city of Florence would be magnificent. I must say that the house is completely atrocious!!!!! I expected "old world charm" and classical architecture and beauty....hopefully, this house is the exception, rather than the rule, in Florence! I expected much better from a trip to Italy! =(

Yea this place looks wretched!!! The beds all look like they're from a half-way house or prison! Except Bedroom #2! I mean good God! LOL Literally-looks like someone took the Sistine Chapel mixed with cheap Ikea shit and decorated this place. I was really thinking since this is in Italy- where a lot of fine designers are- it would be nice, but NOOOO! Well, this IS Jersey Shore, how can we expect them to have ANY class whatsoever
