After what seems like a never ending barrage of horrific weather throughout the month of January, it's time to heat things up a little for Valentine's Day. Now I know, Valentine's Day is just a little tacky. But, if you're a guy and you ignore it the winter will be longer and assuredly, colder. For a woman, if you ignore it you're a cold bitch with no man and pissed off you have no Prince Charming to shower you with diamonds, bonbons and amour. I also loathe the thought of going to a restaurant and having that creepy guy in a cheap tux come around asking my husband if he wants to buy me a rose. Shoot me if I am dining in one of those establishments anyway, por favor..but, you get my point, right?
But, here's the thing. Love, whether you like it or not, is what makes the world go round. Love is something we all need. Without love, your life would basically suck. So, sappy as it sounds you need to celebrate that love. I just don't think a box of chocolates from Walgreen's is the best way. I came up with a list with items from twenty bucks to a max of $200 to give you some options.
