Ryan: Not Now, Maybe Someday

Who knows what vice presidential debates mean, but at a minimum they show us who's ready to step up if needed. Paul Ryan might be ready someday, but not now. Joe Biden's decades of experience showed. Ryan's lack of readiness was painfully apparent.

Who knows what vice presidential debates mean, but at a minimum they show us who's ready to step up if needed. Paul Ryan might be ready someday, but not now. Joe Biden's decades of experience showed. Ryan's lack of readiness was painfully apparent.

Ryan came across like a work in progress. Biden, a finished product.

Biden's seasoned confidence overwhelmed Ryan's raw and unrefined talent.

At times Ryan came across as Biden's unpaid intern. One who had the gumption to challenge the boss, but one who was simply, and not suprisingly, unable to compete.

Mitt Romney picked a running mate who might be his party's future, but not someone who is ready for national office now.
