While President Barack Obama might not get all the deals he wanted from foreign politicians on his latest overseas trip, he's certainly winning over the people in these countries. Indeed, he's well on his way to becoming the world's most popular leader.

This matters because we can imagine a point when Obama's popularity around the globe puts pressure on politicians in some countries to give him more of what he wants. Which is good for America.

Or, at the very least, we don't have to feel as uneasy traveling abroad as we did during the Bush years.
