Okay, the deal is that if you want to support the troops in any real way, you also want to support the people who work so hard to support them.

To that end, I'd like to tell you how impressed I am by the care that VA hospitals provide to the troops. That includes not only good care, but advances in medical diagnostics. (I have to ask my doctor about "flat lesions", and you really don't want to know where.)

Also, the VA's running another innovation initiative right now, and I've volunteered again. Seeing the hospital is a good way to learn what's real, and this gave me ideas for better support for wounded warriors that I'm already talking about with the IT people. (Hey, I don't know medical care, but I do know computers and customer service.)
