Al Franken Moves Ahead

Sure, I don't live in Minnesota, but I feel I should do the right thing when I can.

In Minnesota, we have a new guy, Al Franken, who really does stand up for American shared values. You can see a lot about that here, where he talks about fighting a form of corruption.

It's important to get guys like Al into Congress, and to remove the ones who are connected to suspect stuff. Al's opponent has been, for example, caught protecting the folks implicated in the Valerie Plame matter, and is a known associate of Karl Rove. (Check the other guy's Congresspedia reference)

From MN here...Normy is already in fine form. He trotted out a really nasty ad this week, slamming Franken on his personal taxes, his writings, all the stuff we'd afraid he'd do. The phone bank callers have not been very happy over the ignorance they are running up against. We're not feeling very hopeful about Al's run, but we're fighting hard!!

Well I am from MN and we do need to get that guy out of here. 2006 we sent a Dem and we'll send Franken to join her this year. His support for the president aside, the guy is just unavailable to Minnesotans. But what could he really do given his support for the president!
