An impromptu rally broke out on Concord's Main Street Monday afternoon as supporters of various candidates rallied in the final hours before Tuesday's New Hampshire primary.

The majority of the volunteers crowded the sidewalk in front of Barley House, where former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and his wife Janet sampled the newly minted "Huckaburger"- a bison burger with baby spinach, tomato on a whole wheat English muffin with a fried pickle on the side.

"I guess the fried pickle has something to do with Arkansas," said Michelle, a Barley House waitress. "I think that it is a delicacy there."

Outside the restaurant, Huckabee supporters were outnumbered by those for Rep. Ron Paul, whose signs and slogans were omnipresent. Throughout the early afternoon a small plane dragging a "Ron Paul Revolution" banner did several laps around downtown Concord to cheers from the crowd.

We spoke to supporters of the Huckabee, Clinton, McCain and Romney campaigns, who dotted the sidewalks down Main Street. Noticeably absent were people carrying sings for John Edwards and Rudy Giuliani. Obama volunteers were out in full-force, but were under orders not to speak to the press.
