As of Saturday morning, Hillary Clinton still had a lead in pledged delegates. Within 2 days, Obama won new contests and was further boosted by a 13-0 split in the February 5th delegates whose allocation was elucidated today. He is now in firm control of the pledged delegate count, 993 to 935. This was expected, as Obama's Saturday wins were anything but a surprise. But the overwhelming size of his victories enabled him to open up larger than expected margins, especially in Washington state.

I would like to know why HP is so anti Hillary.
Why does HP have Hillary nutcracker ads and other anti Hillary ads promoted by Google on its website? All the coverage in HP of late about Hillary seems negative. I wonder if Arianna's anti feminist history is coming back to haunt her. Arianna Huffington wrote a famous anti feminist treatise back in the day. God, I thought you had left all that anti woman stuff behind you. Arianna, maybe you never did get it. If so then I am really sad. Arianna, Do you really think Obama has women's interests at heart or is it just that you don't care and believe women power is so useless we really can't make any difference. Well, I know one thing. HP is making me really really mad as it appears you and others in the media won't even touch sexism as an issue. Whether you want Hillary for Pres. or not, you should be able to see the forest for the trees and at the least be critical of all the female bashing directed in the media against Hillary just because she is a woman. Where's the respect for your woman
readers?

If Hillary is as smart as she says she is, why is she still in the race? She must know (everyone else does) that the only way for the Republicans to win is if she is the Democratic nominee. She will galvanize that sad, splintered party to yet another victory over the spineless Dems, who seem determined to lose yet again if she runs.
I think Hillary will have to reassess once she realizes she is not able to continue fundraising at the same pace as Obama, AND she is behind in the pledged delegate count. I'm patient enough to wait her out, I just hope she stops with the identity politics and starts hitting back with some actual issue-based positions. And let's talk about how low the ratings were for her "talk" on Hallmark. I'm mean seriously, she couldn't even get a million viewers from her so-called loyalists. All of you supporters who comment here, I hope you watched every minute of what your campaign contributions paid for - and that it was worth it since it obviously helped her so much with her base.
Those of you who are concerned about the super delegate situation, I urge you to lodge your opinion with the DNC ... http://www .democrats .org/page/ s/contact
Remember, bringing our voices together is the only way to rock the establishment.

Thanks for the link. I've sent my opinion!
Keep in Mind 49 more delegates from Feb 5 are yet to be assigned 48 of those are from Illinois, Georgia and Colorado. So it's likely Obama will get a lion share of those- atleast a margin of 20 more than Billary.
That's about 80 more delegates as of Feb 11. It's very likely he will go into the March 4 with 100-120 more pledged delegates. And Clintons have to win 70% of the vote in TX and Ohio to erase the difference. The only state where she won 70% so far is Arkansas. BTW 1/3 of the TX delegates are awarded by Caucus the remaining by primary. Two weeks ago Clintons were leading Barack in OH by 20 points.
It looked grim after NH and NV but Touch wood!!! Obama is very much in the race now.
:
The Clinton mantra -- "Wait until Texas & Ohio" was first used as "Wait until Florida" by Rudy G.
Voters don't wait. Seas don't wait.
History is not waiting. We are here.
G'Obama!
:
this whole primary season is a good one let the process continue.
If Obama lost five primaries in a row, and by the margins that he seems to have won by, everyone would be asking him to step aside... for the the party. Well now the shoe's on the other foot. It's time for selfish Ms. Clinton to step aside, put her ambitions on hold for the party and for America... D.
Amen....or "aWOman" as the case may be.
Step aside? Based on what? If Clinton wins Texas and Ohio, should Obama step aside? With logic like that, the 16-0 Patriots shuold have told the rest of the league to simply step aside. How'd that end again? Oh yeah, 18 wins and a huge one loss. You play to win the game as Herm Edwards said. This isn't any different.
By the way, as a Obama supporter, it would be nice if Clinton stepped aside. I also live in reality and that's not gonna happen.
It is not as if Sen. Clinton is the underdog here.
The underdog is Sen. Obama but it seems he is kicking ass and taking names.
Go 'Bama.
She's goin 4 the gold baby, she aint steppin aside, no how, no way....CLI NTON 08
She'll sacrifice her 1st born before she quits the opportunity for supreme power!
