Top 5 Chuck Bass Moments From This Week's Gossip Girl

I love a lot of things about the wildly popular contemporary American television series, Gossip Girl. I don't care if it calls girls sluts or if it sets a bad example for tweenage children (who should be obsessing over Zanessa anyway, and not the Upper East Siders on Gossip Girl). It's fantastic television and it's a series I can't get enough of. But as much as I love the show in its entirety, one character stands far and away above the rest. At this point, I'm prepared to say that Chuck Bass, played magnificently by Ed Westwick, is by far the most awesome character on the show. This week's episode gave us Chuck's "Lost Weekend," which I suspect, were the boys older, would have taken place in Vegas but instead due to their (under)age took place at, of course, The Palace, but also at that park on Houston and Chrystie and some Irish-themed pub where Chuck busted out some incredible math skills. Below, I've distilled 44 minutes of primetime TV into 90 seconds of splendor to give you Chuck Bass' top five moments, from the insane outfits to the ridiculous luxury brand-dropping to the straight-up asshole comments he's becoming known for.

Did I miss something? Do you love Chuck, hate him, or hate to love him? Let me know in the comments section.

If they follow the books, LaChuck should be coming out soon. Also: Chuck is GossipGirl.

LOVE Chuck Bass. While I have no regrets about any moral dilemmas regarding Gossip Girl (it's tv, not Sunday school), my problem with GG is that the characters are boring. The early seasons of the OC was genius because its characters were actually interesting, INCLUDING the parents. The only character I'm curious about on GG is Chuck Bass -- maybe because he's the only character with an even slightly talented actor (with an interesting face) behind him.
