I love a lot of things about the wildly popular contemporary American television series, Gossip Girl. I don't care if it calls girls sluts or if it sets a bad example for tweenage children (who should be obsessing over Zanessa anyway, and not the Upper East Siders on Gossip Girl). It's fantastic television and it's a series I can't get enough of. But as much as I love the show in its entirety, one character stands far and away above the rest. At this point, I'm prepared to say that Chuck Bass, played magnificently by Ed Westwick, is by far the most awesome character on the show. This week's episode gave us Chuck's "Lost Weekend," which I suspect, were the boys older, would have taken place in Vegas but instead due to their (under)age took place at, of course, The Palace, but also at that park on Houston and Chrystie and some Irish-themed pub where Chuck busted out some incredible math skills. Did I miss something? Do you love Chuck, hate him, or hate to love him? Let me know in the comments section.
