Gore's Oscar appearance

Gore just appeared on stage with Leo Dicaprio. They discussed how the ceremony has gone green, and how everyone has a role to play in fighting climate change. Dicaprio kept asking him if there's anything he wanted to announce.

Finally, toward the end, Gore said he "hadn't planned on doing this," but the feelings of the moment had inspired him, and he wanted to use this moment to announce to the American people ...

And then the music swelled, cutting him off.
