At the Seattle Interactive Conference this past week, AOL was strongly represented from our awesome booth with a transparent activation, to a host of AOL speakers like Roy Sekoff. Roy sat down with me to talk transparency, the power of participation and the power of the consumer.

One year later, HuffPost Live, is thriving as the only live-streaming news network online. "We made a big bet, that regular people would have interesting things to say, and a lot of people didn't think that would be a good bet," he says. Roy explains that one of the reasons why HuffPost Live is so successful is because they gave people a seat at the table who didn't have one. Watch as he explains how the power of transparency lead to success for the Huffington Post and for AOL.
