Today we've got another episode of
. This is the ongoing web ad series about Lieberman, and his willingness to say literally anything to distort his own record. This new edition is pretty stunning - over the course of 7 weeks he has gone from airing an ad telling voters he "wants to end the war in Iraq" to giving speeches about how to continue the war in Iraq. In the course of 24 hours, he's gone from saying it's time to "get tough" with the Iraqi leadership about them taking responsibility for their own security, to meeting with the Iraqi leadership and refusing to do exactly what he said he was going to do.

(DISCLOSURE: I have long been a volunteer supporter of Ned Lamont's candidacy and written extensively about the race. As of Labor Day, I am officially working with the Lamont for Senate campaign on research. The writing on this blog is my own, and not the official work I do for the Lamont campaign.)
