Last time my wife or I checked, I was still technically a man. So sadly, I may not fit into the most desirable demographic for Oprah Winfrey's brand new OWN network. Still, I am watching. For instance, I gladly attended Oprah's own Masterclass with Jay-Z when it aired the other night and found the show to be both masterful and classy. I also look forward to Shania Twain's upcoming reality show Why Not? -- though come to think of it, I'm not precisely sure why. I also just had the opportunity to spend a few days on the set of Ask Oprah's All Stars and simply by listening closely to Suze Orman and the Good Doctors -- Phil and Oz! -- I'm already a nearly functional human being.

Here then is my playlist for Oprah and her new network dedicated to helping us all make our OWN kind of music. And now more than ever, please add your OWN songs to the playlist.
