'Television Rules the Nation': An Emmy Party Playlist

"This is going to be a very musical Emmy Awards," Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich just told me. "And with Neil Patrick Harris on board as our host and Producer, it's going to be a great one." As someone who's happy to be one of writers on the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast this year, I second that emotion. In addition bringing viewers the greatest stars on television -- including the most consistently entertaining host in award show history -- this Sunday's Emmy night on CBS will also feature special musical performances by a couple of true class acts in any medium -- Elton John and Carrie Underwood. So for all you of out there having Emmy-viewing parties, here's a playlist channeling some cool TV-related tunes to help get you all in the right mood for television's biggest night. And since TV is getting more and more interactive all the time, please add your own TV tunes below.
