We've all been conditioned to look upon time as our enemy. This belief is wrong, but it's so deeply ingrained that if affects even the most gifted people.
Years ago, I was riding in a car with a woman who had been labeled by the media as one of the most beautiful women in the world. She had everything, since talent and wealth were also hers, but her health tended to be fragile.

Linda Bergthold: Finding a Place for Mom (or Dad)
For many families, the time will eventually come when mom or dad cannot live alone safely. And woe is the family member who has to deliver that message -- it's best to be prepared.
Kelly Matheson: Why Healthcare Reform is Good for Older Americans
The Elder Justice Act in the health reform bills would finally provide the increased federal resources and leadership to prevent, detect, treat, understand, intervene in and, where appropriate, prosecute elder abuse.
Jim Selman: N.O.P.E.: National Organization of Pissed Off Elders
I want to create a new organization to stamp out stupidity and indifference and restore common decency and goodwill into society. I think I'll call it the National Organization of Pissed-Off Elders (N.O.P.E.).

Dearest Deepak Chopra:
What a beautiful article you offer!
I am noticing how time can be fast or slow in relationship to thinking. Rather, my body’s participation in time can be fast or slow based on my thinking! There are types of thinking emerging of their own self, carrying inspiration, blooming with creation, connected to a breath of life we all share.
Another thinking is based on aiming to control moments; contraction! How fascinating that surrendered thinking brings refreshing feelingss of youth.
When at battle with aspects of reality, the movie becomes fast, the body loses spaciousness, aging quickens.
When sinking into thoughts, finding creation below them, the movie gets slower, body feels younger, breath is deep, inspiration is powerful.
A couple came in for divorce counseling. Invited to breath into an experience of their individual dissatisfaction, they discovered bliss! Breath took over, body slowed, mind became supportive of life. In this openness they were able to find new ways to interact with one another. They decided to remain together, stating their happiness level is the best in thirteen years.
Creation’s assistance is available for everyone! With no guarantees, on this the planet of polarities, harmonizing with life will slow down time. The body on slow time down opens doors to unusual and unexpected solutions.
Thank you for ongoing willingness to engage people in opportunities to discover new relationships to living!
Many Blessings to you and your family,
Dr. Laurie Moore

Where is it taught that only youth is good. People must learn to embrace their entire life. To try and hold on to youth with backward baseball caps, hair dye, Botox injection, caps on your teeth all for a freakin illusion that don;t mean nothing except to the ones selling it. If there is anything that needs regulation it is advertising, but woe to anyone that suggests shackling our capitalist society. Common sense has ceded to profit.
Time is our measurement of change. The Universe is timeless.
I am surprised and disappointed to begin reading an article on HuffPost and then I am asked to finish reading it on oprah.com ??? What's up with that?
After the McKenzie Phillips debacle I am off all things Oprah, so I guess I can’t finish the article.
