That is the most disgusting cake ever. I never heard of her before this, but then I don't watch the food channel. It's like, anti-cooking.

Why does she keep calling the CornNuts acorns?

I loved this! I also do ghost writing/testing for fellow chefs and I know how important it is to believe in the people you're writing for. Don't worry, she can't touch you! And if you need a good lawyer, let me know. Enjoy Thailand!

Oh........and find me on Twitter to hear the rest of recipes. Hell, I even came up with a whole Sandra inspired episode!

Sandra Lee drives me craaaaaaaaazy. And yet........she has inspired me to come up with my own method of pseudo cooking that I am thinking of trademarking. My first Sandra Lee style recipes include Tybell chicken...a blend of Tyson chicken and Campbell's soup!! Thanks Sandra!!

I would love to comment but I cannot since I am now prone to last-gasp-laugh-attacks at the mere thought of the infamous Kwanzaa Cake.

I need a minute or so... Whew.

On the downside, performance artist, Sandra Lee, probably killed Kwanzaa with your recipe. Don't feel bad though. I think that most Americans were confused and befuddled by this newish holiday. The upshot is that If I ever celebrate Kwanzaa, your recipe will be a part of the festivities.

Seriously, thank you. The Kwanzaa Cake video is better than medical marijuana. When Lee called the CornNuts "acorns" I just about burst my diaphragm. Thank you for planting seeds of laughter.

So much dirt, so little time.

What Ms. Lee does isn't cooking. She throws a bunch of pre-made crap together and calls herself done. I'm surprised she has a gig on channel devoted to cooking and food.

I collect cookbooks, but I've never seen or even heard of a Sara Lee cookbook. I suppose this was intended to be funny,

Yes, indeedy! That right there says it all! Thanks, Cathi.

We do need to distinquish the difference between recipes and a how-to-do manual which are clearing what the constructions of these cakes are, absolutely hilarious.
10:53 AM on 12/19/2010
This is truly a very funny story but funnier is to go and look at the videos on You-Tube and see Sandra Lee prepare these messes with a straight face. Do the shows on the Food Network get rated by viewership? They couldn't if this woman is still allowed to have air time. Denise Vivaldo shame on you (LOL) at least you confessed that should shorten your prison sentence.

Hahahaha I though Sandra Lee was someone from 1960s beach movies! I laughed till I was hurting reading the comments under those videos on YouTube so I had to keep looking at more and more videos Hilarious!

I can't really blame her for putting her hands all over Anthony Bourdain though..... he is Tres' Yummy LOL!

I thought the top of the cake needed larger PILLAR candles.
Patchouli scented of course.
