The Ultimate 'Wait-Loss' Program

The false idea that we must wait for something or someone to change before we can step into our vision is a core reason we get stuck and feel like a victim.

"Do not wait: the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along." -- Napoleon Hill

While it's not good for your health to pack on extra pounds, the heaviest burden to your well-being is the extra "wait" you're carrying -- all the excuses you've swallowed for why you can't live your dreams, all the doubt you've digested that's keeping you on the couch until the "the timing is right."

The false idea that we must wait for something or someone to change before we can step into our vision is a core reason we get stuck and feel like a victim. There's only one power, one cause, and one law over your life -- God or infinite love (whatever concept you prefer).

And it is within you.

You are a divine power plant. And a power plant doesn't receive energy, it generates it.

One meta principle of the law of emergence is that you are the only law over your life -- because the only creative force in your experience is your consciousness. Nothing can enter your experience except through an activity of your mind.

But to activate this principle of emergence, you must act like it's true -- you must act like you really are loved, supported, abundant, and brilliant -- then live and give from that place. That's why Gandhi said we must be the change we want to see in the world.

You can't have what you're not willing to become -- in consciousness and character.

If you're willing, there's always a way. But sometimes you have to pioneer it -- because the way is not "out there." You are the way. You are the answer you've been seeking. You are the hero you've been waiting to rescue you.

This isn't just some sweet sentiment, this is the absolute truth about you.

The average person doesn't live 70 to 90 years, they live the same year 70 to 90 times -- stuck in their own Groundhog Day. They may change locations, change jobs, change mates, or change underwear, but they're living the same old story because they're not willing to change themselves!

If you want more to come into your life, you must find a way to let more life come out of you. Or, put another way, it's time to get off your big fat assets -- and play a bigger game.

Are you willing to play a bigger game? Are you ready to end victimhood forever?

If so, I invite you into a simple practice to turn on that "divine power plant" within...

Take a moment right now and look at one area where you feel stuck, one area where you believe someone or something has to change "out there" before you can do, be, or create something.

To do the following process, you can read it first then practice it, ask a friend to facilitate it, or record yourself speaking it into your smart phone and play it back to guide you.

Close your eyes and visualize yourself receiving whatever you've been waiting for. Really be in the scene, seeing and feeling it. Then magnify that scene times 10. Whatever you're experiencing, imagine it suddenly getting much better. Instead of simply receiving more appreciation at work, you walk in and get a standing ovation. Instead of just getting that promotion, you land the job of a lifetime.

Take a deep breath and let this feeling expand to fill your chest. Imagine it has a color, so that you're seeing and feeling it -- then take another deep breath and let it expand to fill your body. Inhale once again, but as you exhale this time imagine this energy radiating outward into your life -- blessing and saturating everyone and everything with this expanded vibration.

Notice that you are feeling some of the qualities that you thought you could only feel if that outer condition changed. Understand that this feeling-tone is the very substance and spiritual reality of the thing you want -- and as you activate and radiate it, you are literally creating the conditions for it to show up more fully in your life.

Now, from this place, ask: "What activities could I do to generate this quality more in my everyday life, so that it becomes an integral part of my being?"

Listen and notice what arises. Be aware of people, places, things, or actions you can take to activate, integrate and embody this feeling-tone more fully.

Next, ask: "What would it look like for me to step more fully into being this kind of person that I'm seeing and feeling in the vison? What would I do more of, less of, or differently?"

Again, notice what arises. Be aware of any actions you can take to step more fully into being this person in the vision. If the guidance is vague, like "love yourself more," ask what that would specifically look like. Keep asking until you get something actionable.

Allow for a sense of gratitude to rise up in you -- find something, anything, to be grateful for, understanding that gratitude is the "evidence that you've already received the gift." The more you can live in an attitude of gratitude, the more life will give you to be grateful for.

When you're ready, you can open your eyes and return fully to your body and the room you're in. Write down what came up, and make a commitment to act on the guidance.

Today. This week. This month.

Life doesn't happen to you, it happens through you. That's why whatever you're waiting for, you're waiting with -- and you're weighing it down.

If you're ready to stop getting ready and start playing full out, create your own 30-day "Wait-Loss Program" designed to release all the excuses.

This is your time. This is your year.

Take it to the next level -- today!

To Your Emergence,

Derek
