At the age of fifteen, I became a mother. This was a very hard thing for me to handle because I wasn't fully matured. I had to take care of myself, school, and another human being all in one. I didn't know what to do or how to handle a baby at only fifteen years old. How was it possible? I worried about all the judgmental including family members. I was lucky enough to have my mom by myside, not many get the chance to have what I did. I am now twenty-one, a mother of two and I want to eventually pursue my dreams in writing. No matter what age you have a child it's always a difficult task.
Big dreams
As for me and other teen mothers, my dreams changed. I couldn't pursue what I wanted to do because of the obstacles I have been through. Things change when you are not able to have the freedom you did before. It's possible for you to accomplish what you want if you just put your mind to it. It may take longer but in the end your kids will be proud. I changed schools constantly and ended graduating from an independent charter school. Luckily, they have these types of schools around.
Multi tasking
As for me & other parents we tend to be an expert at multi-tasking. Whether you have a full-time job, part-time job, or is even a homemaker it's difficult to balance everything out. .You clean the kitchen and then you have to clean your living room, then it goes back to cleaning the kitchen again. It's a never ending job. There's nothing more that I love than having little handprints on the mirror.
Emotions
In most cases, we tend to find ways to make our child feel better whether they are hurt, hungry, or has a minor cut us mothers find ways to help. We put our child's feelings before our own. Of course, we get frustrated at times but what mother doesn't? What mother hasn't said "NO"? It's our favorite word. We tend to sometimes forget about our health and emotional state.
Unconditional love
There's nothing more you love then hearing the words "I love you mom". Being a mom is the most awesome job anyone can have. It's love we cannot explain. Even through the tantrums, crying, back talk we tend to love our children unconditionally. It's the most amazing feeling and no one can take it away.
