GOP Suppression Smacks Down Ohio Turnout

A source at one of the Obama call centers going into Ohio tells me that some of the people they're calling, especially into blue-collar Dem zips, are saying they're not going to vote because they don't have a picture ID. Which, of course, they don't need in Ohio, but which the GOP has succeeded in convincing them they do.

Given the (elected Republican) judge who's been keeping misleading voter ID ads up in PA despite his own ruling striking them down and Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted's efforts to reconstitute the Constitution, it's going to be a tight night.

Kathleen Unger, Founder of VoteRiders.com, warns voters in every state not to leave their polling place without casting at least a provisional ballot. "If you're not allowed to vote with a regular ballot, then cast a provisional ballot. If you need help, call 866-Our-Vote (866-687-8683)," she advised.
