Hopefully your Freshman 8 is going well, and you are starting to see some of the many benefits of getting your rest (remember my last blog about that GPA!). A new study from Canada now shows how sleep can help your performance on something seriously important to every college freshman -- you guessed it, that all-encompassing party favorite: Guitar Hero!

Now this is a research department I want to hang out in!

If the GPA blog and data did not get your attention, then I think this study will. Sleep is critical to everything you do. Playing Guitar Hero requires memory and motor skills -- both of which are influenced by your sleep. You really can't do either one well without your 8.

Next blog: learn more about how sleep effects both of these areas. Keep up the great sleep!
