The greatest mind of the 20th century said, "Yes, we have to divide up our time like that, between our politics and our equations. But to me our equations are far more important, for politics are only a matter of present concern. A mathematical equation stands forever."

Barack Obama, politics aside, you have used a simple, effective equation beautifully during this election cycle. In the last 16 days, stay with your winning equation:

Keep speaking truth to lies. Stay clear.

Keep your temper and your tongue. Stay elegant.

Keep the focus on us, not you. Stay honorable.

Keep campaigning. Stay perseverant.

Keep being curious. Stay educable.

Keep your own counsel. Stay prayerful.

The tenor of a political campaign often heralds how that elected official will behave in office. Most of America is ready to vote for clear, elegant, honorable, perseverant, educable and prayerful.

Senator Obama, we're proud of how you've run your campaign, and we can't wait to call you Mr. President.
