The H.O.P.E. of Barack Obama

I was sitting on my porch just now reading a terrific book when the phone rang. I set the book down and, because it was breezy, put a rock on the cover. The rock is inscribed with the word "Hope."

Hope, of course, put me in mind of Barack Obama with his litany of hope throughout the primary and general presidential campaigns, and because my mind is wired the way it is, new words popped into my head.

That says it all for me.

There is a little over a week till that fateful November day when we will decide who will steer our nation for the next four years. Keep your heart on h.o.p.e., dear one.
