This fact was not lost on the Village Voice's Tricia Romano, who last week called them "beautiful mini-masterpieces that make everyone look better" (see here) — and this week, presto-bango, conscripted him to provide the accompanying portraiture* to her cover story on why bottle service is killing New York nightlife, man. We're journalists, dammit). Ever since yesterday's item sent purple collars a-poppin', the commenters have been going wild (81 comments and counting, and that's just today). Between this series and Gawker's TODO, they seem to be doing service with a vengeance. Congratulations, Gabe and Nikola! And Tricia too, what the hell, you definitely deserve a piece of that sweet action.
