Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell must have realized that, offensive as they both may be, they can only reach their true freakshow potential with their powers combined. Yesterday, Rosie mocked the "snake-oil salesman" on the View for forgiving the disgraced Miss USA. (Really, it was actually clever.) Trump, gentleman that he is, called her a loser on national TV and promised to sue her.
But there is so much more Trump-made abuse below, where the billionaire says "I love to see bad people fail" and "Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out."
"Probably I'll sue her, because it would be fun." Sue her for what exactly? Trump never names a charge, so we (that is, our discerning legal analysts, not me) presume it's slander, particularly for the bankruptcy comment.
If so, congrats to Rosie for very nearly pretending to defend herself on her blog (found via Best Week Ever) by pasting a Wikipedia entry ("increasing debt brought Trump to business bankruptcy and the brink of personal bankruptcy") and appending her free-verse commentary ("i will let u know if the donald sues me / or if kelli leaves me for one of his pals / dont u find him charming").
I'm behind on my reading at the Rosie blog, but is that where she plays nice? Gossip blog Jossip has to step in for her with the obvious retort: "We imagine it would be pretty easy to take away his wife Melania, considering how Donald looks."
