Since it's awful pun day on ETP, we figured we could sneak by with that one. Faithful readers, or people who ended up here completely by mistake, you may have noticed that a new name has been popping up on the blog of late: That of Michael Sonnenschein, whom ETP is thrilled to welcome for a two-week-ish guest-editing stint. Michael is an Los Angeles-based TV writer (for, amongst other things, "Blind Date," which is a tipoff to his suavity, ladies), magazine contributor (including TV Guide, GQ, and the on-hiatus LA Innuendo) and occasional blogger (see here), with whom I had the great fortune to work when we were both with MediaBistro, he at FishbowlLA and I at FishbowlNY, and I was thrilled that he was able to add his wit and flair for the Schwarzenegger joke to ETP while I step out for a bit on book leave. He will be joined by a few surprise guest posters over the next little while, which may — may — involve some haiku. We're just saying. In the meantime, we're still working on amassing some of the best responses to our request for space puns, including the most recent Team ETP favorite, "Aliens 2007: This Time They're Horny." Thanks, Sue A.! Send us more here; you're cracking us up, and in some cases, scaring us. But either way, be nice to Mike.
