As both of us have been meditating for many years it takes little effort for us to relax and chill out. But that doesn't mean that there aren't times when we do need to chill -- just because we meditate doesn't make us perfect!

As both of us have been meditating for many years it takes little effort for us to relax and chill out. But that doesn't mean that there aren't times when we do need to chill -- just because we meditate doesn't make us perfect!

We particularly love the recordings we have included here. We were involved in the recording of Awakening, on Nad Sundaram CD by Nestor Kornblum and Michele Avera, made in a fantastic dome sound chamber in the beautiful mountains of Southern Spain. In Awakening, Ed starts by wishing all beings be free from suffering, a sentiment that reminds us that we're not alone here, that we all interconnected. Legend Annie Lennox, who was featured in the London Olympics, sings I Saved The World Today, which enables us to go beyond our own needs or hurt and puts us in touch with our inner altruism. While John Lennon's classic, Imagine, stands on its own as an eternally heart felt expression of kindness and oneness.

We are both always moved by interspecies animal friendships, as they not only redefine any ideas we might have about how animals are meant to behave, but also make us realize that we can go beyond race, color, size, and any other discrimination, that we can love an enemy, that we can open our hearts to all those we might be having a hard time with, and dissolve barriers and separation.

We love the sea. We used to live very close to it in England and each day we would watch it's different moods, expressions, serenity, wildness and turbulence. It seemed to reflect all the moods we all go through, yet deep beneath the surface there is such calm and quiet, just as there is within ourselves when we look deeply.

The sayings we have included are written by ourselves for Orange/ French Telecom and Sprint cell phones. But even though we may have written them, they still have the power to transform and uplift us when we read them. They are eternal reminders that the way we approach life is a choice we each make in every minute.

Enjoy!
