The American: A Mayor Koch Review

Although this is one of the slowest-paced films that I can recall seeing in a long time, it is well worth watching.

George Clooney's latest action thriller has him playing an assassin. Clooney is a fine actor. He has a wide range of films, with emotions from A to Z -- and not A to B. To his credit, most of his movies have been very successful.

I met him once. He's a very nice guy, very short. You'd think he's tall, but he's probably about three feet tall. Maybe that's an understatement -- or overstatement.

Everyone in this movie is either extremely beautiful or very handsome. Indeed, a prostitute, Clara (Violante Placido), is absolutely off the charts in beauty. In one water scene she reminded me of Hedy Lamarr when she first came on the Hollywood scene so many years ago.

Although this is one of the slowest-paced films that I can recall seeing in a long time, it is well worth watching... it keeps your interest, so I give it a plus. For my full video review, click below.
