I like movies that have violent stories. But they also have to have a legitimate plot in addition to the violence, otherwise it turns me off. The Killer Inside Me, which is based on a 1952 novel by Jim Thompson, stars Casey Affleck (a better actor than his brother Ben, in my opinion); Jessica Alba; and Kate Hudson.

After seeing this movie, I came away feeling that it was all about violence without meaning. To discover why, check out my review, below.

If you've seen the film, let me know what you thought of it. Do you agree with my assessment?
