The Brooklyn Comedy Company is proud to present the Season 2 - Episode 2 of the critically acclaimed web series "This Week in Blackness" on the Huffington Post. After the death of Michael Jackson, BET tried to help console the world and especially Black People about the his death. They failed miserably.

It may be comedy but it hit the nail on the head. BET is psychologically stifling the evolution of Black people.... and this is coming from a black person... Rap music and the imagery it portrays is psychologically damaging our youths.... I cannot watch BET as every time I zip pass it on my changer, there's some black guy in a movie holding a gun... what idiots in these positions do not realize they are mentally killing their own people...

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. And sadly, BET really DOESN'T care about us. They wouldn't keep promoting such ignorance on their programs if they did care. I haven't watched BET in a few years. After tuning in to watch the awards show and its "MJ tribute", I don't think I ever will again.
