On Monday June 25, the fabulous Paul Fehribach, executive chef at the Southern-style restaurant, Big Jones, will be the guest chef cooking up a storm on The Dinner Party. For those of you who have already been, you know that The Dinner Party is a lively conversation over food, wine and a few impromptu performances featuring cultural luminaries centered around a monthly dinner cooked by a celebrity chef. The show is filmed in front of a live audience (which also enjoys food and pairing samples and chocolate!) at the Mayne Stage.

This Monday, Paul will be making home-made charcuterie with breads and his famous gumbo! Microbrew beer pairings from Shiner Beers and chocolate from Vosges round out the meal. June's dinner guests are an incredible line-up and include The Interrupters director Steve James, Goodman Theatre's Crowns playwright, Regina Taylor, Be The Groove Artistic Director, Stephanie Paul, and spoken word artist, Marco The Poet. Lively conversation with a few artist performances is right! In honor of Crowns, hats are provided on stage by milliner Jenny Pfanenstiel.

Viewers in the audience -- and those watching the stream live on their computers on the Time Out Chicago link starting at 7:30 p.m. -- can tweet in questions (and win prizes!) to FearNoArtChgo, #TheDinnerParty to participate in this multi-dimensional, interactive show. Hope you can join in and be a part of The Dinner Party!

In the interim, check out Monsieur Fehribach giving away some of his gumbo secrets in this sneak preview of Monday night.
