21st Century Sarajevo

20 years is a long time. What human beings can accomplish in just two decades can be astounding, just look back at the internet (such as it was) in 1995. Now think of how transformed 21st century lives have become by the two decade evolution of computer technologies.

Unfortunately the name "Bosnia" remains synonymous with conflict and strife, despite the fact that the war tickling the fear centers in the minds of potential travelers, ended 20 years ago.

This is the 3 Minute Postcard of 21st century Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminding us that societal strength and human ingenuity can transform a nation.

So if you had any preconceived notions of what to expect in Sarajevo, toss them out! She's becoming one of the stylish new travel capitals of Europe, and deservedly so.
