As we move quickly through the holiday season spending time with loved ones, giving heartfelt gifts, and sharing the magic that the holidays bring, it also becomes time to think about all that we want and desire for the new year and beyond. What if this year, instead of making your list of resolutions and hoping they come true, you could be your own Santa?

Being your own Santa isn't about spending money or buying your own gifts. In fact, it's not about the stuff at all. Being your own Santa is about knowing you can manifest and create anything you desire, not just during the holiday season, but any time of year.

These three steps are all you need to be your own Santa and create the life you have always wanted now and forever more.

Step 1: Know what you want.

How does Santa (or the Universe for that matter) know what you want if you don't write him a letter telling him?

Being clear about what you want to manifest in your life is the first step to creating a life you love. There are far too many of us living a lackluster life simply because we haven't yet defined what it is we want. Many of us spend most of our moments thinking about what we don't want in our lives and very rarely dream about the things we desire. Maybe you don't want to be disappointed or you are afraid to dream big because you've been let down in the past.

Don't let your past be the place your dreams go to die.

Isn't it more fun to think of all the amazing things you want to experience in life? Your thoughts and feelings create your reality and the more you think about what you don't want, the more you are faced with those very things.

Switch your focus and employ your amazing imaginative power so it works for you instead of against you. Let your imagination take you on a glorious ride through your dream as you explore what it would be like to be, have, and do all that you have ever wanted. Enjoy the vision because that is where it all begins.

Step 2: Believe you can have it.

I don't know one child who writes their letter to Santa without fully believing in the magic that he brings. The same goes for you believing in your ability to manifest the life of your dreams.

The power is already within you, you just have to believe in it and allow it to work for you. In fact you are already attracting to you what you think about, but more importantly what you believe to be true. Your thoughts and emotions have immense power, so use them wisely and trust the process.

After all who is Santa without the magic, wonder, and awe that he brings? Let that same magic be a part of your every day experience and tap into the part of you that remembers who you really are...an incredibly powerful creator.

Step 3: Follow your heart and take inspired action.

Nothing happens without a bit of action on your part. As logical thinkers, we tend to think of the most realistic way our dreams can become reality. We map out our steps, set up our plan, and take big action.

But, what if there were more than one way to make your dreams come true and better yet, what if the other options were easier?

Be on the lookout for the endless ways you can get to where you want to be. They may not all seem logical, realistic, or even possible, but isn't that what magic is all about? And don't worry if you aren't quite sure where to start or what step comes next.

Do you think Santa worries about how to get down the chimney or fly his sleigh? No, he just knows it will work and trusts his magic. You need to have the same faith and trust in yours.

Your heart is the source of your magic and your intuition will guide you to exactly where you need to be and what you need to do. All you have to do is listen. Also remember that you don't have to do it all alone. There are sure to be many teachers, mentors, and messengers along your path to help guide you.

Even Santa has an army of elves to help him prep for the big day so you are sure to have a bit of help along the way.

I know many of you have had wonderful experiences with this magical manifesting ability and I'd love to hear about them. How have you experienced being your own Santa this year? Better yet, what amazing things are you planning on manifesting in the year to come?
