Michel Poignant is a successful business founder, owner, and developer and has extensive knowledge in marketing, computer technology and business management. Besides being an integral and essential part of the team who were the architects of the PayToo electronic wallet platform, Mr. Poignant also collaborated in the development of many other products and services related to store value cards, telecom, prepaid cards, money transfers and electronic bill payment processing.

Mr. Poignant’s resumé details just how massive and voluminous his successful business experience is. It begins in 1983 in Paris, France, his home country, where he studied business management at EDC Pans Business School. He then received a certificate in photography and graphic design from EFET, (Ecole Photo et Formation a la Photographie). After that he started his professional life working as a marketing manager for a large European textile company and then for Kis France, a photography company, and Racine, a major photo laboratory that had over 30% of the French market. He was responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the company in all of France.

The years 1995 through 1999 show Mr. Poignant working for the giant clothing company Jordache International Europe, where he was in charge of Distribution of clothing network in partnership with the American mother company Jordache. His move into computers in 2000 was smooth and perfectly timed. He was general manager for one of the top five computer builders in the French market and created the Mobidesk, the first mobile desktop computer.

He was, as CEO of Chronocash Corp, the prepaid card company, from 2003 to 2005, responsible for the success or failure of the company: operations, marketing, strategy, financing, creation of company culture, hiring, firing and delegation of work. He was also CEO of Yackie Telecom Corp: Mobile Telecom Operation Company from 2004 through 2010. There are many other companies and mergers of his businesses with other businesses that could be mentioned but there is not enough room in this space. Suffice it to say that Mr. Poignant owns and operates, under the PayToo banner, many trusted financial services firms, that through his superior management skills combined with results-driven leadership has served thousands of people across the country and will continue to do so in a timely and efficient manner.
