Sometimes it's hard to find common ground between meat eaters and vegetarians. But a dish that has the texture and taste of a meat dish can often bridge the gap.

At Kings County Imperial in Brooklyn, they have a solution to try and please both sides. Their 'mock eel' keeps the look of the classic Chinese dish, but instead of using actual eel they use long strands of mushrooms. Fried and cooked in a wok, these morsels will make anyone feel satiated.
