Here are the latest animals up for adoption through the Animal Care & Control of New York City.
A nonprofit organization, AC&C gives shelter to more than 30,000 dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals each year.
Interested in a new pet? AC&C has adoption centers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island, all open daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All AC&C adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance and a free office visit at a participating veterinarian.

“Luna,” her foster mom writes, “is one of the most adorable girls you’ll ever meet! Very energetic, playful and puppy-like, Luna loves long walks and playing with her chew toys. Luna is also a great snuggle partner! She loves to cuddle and hold you as she rests her head on your chest. Diamond, a volunteer notes, has a “super sweet disposition” and “is very well socialized - she's friendly and very eager for affection.
