Next week's three-day "Disrupt" conference on a Manhattan Hudson River pier is on target to pass last year's attendee mark of 1,800, says Erick Schonfeld, co-editor of TechCrunch, organizer of the event. "It will be "huge," he tells Beet.TV.

A big focus of the conference will be the launch of some 30 start-ups from around the world which have been selected from 500 applicants, says Schonfeld in this interview with Beet.TV.
