Swanky doesn't begin to describe the ultra-chic digs at the London West Hollywood, which found a place among the Travel & Leisure 500 in 2010. For those who want to push the swank factor off the scale without breaking the bank, The London Veranda Suite offers 750 feet of interior living space in addition to its private furnished terrace, which is perfect for soaking in the California sunshine or watching the beautiful people below. The Sofitel Chicago Water Tower is one of Chicago's most distinguished hotels, having been named to the Travel & Leisure 500 as recently as 2013. New York is notorious for high hotel prices, especially when it comes to suites in swanky hotels. But this member of the 2013 Condé Nast Gold List offers surprisingly affordable luxury in the heart of midtown. The Luxury One Bedroom Suite at The Kimberly boasts over 500 square feet of living space, a separate bedroom and living area each with its own flat screen TV, a balcony with city views, and a wetbar equipped with a microwave and fridge. Tip: Ask for a suite with a jetted tub (most but not all have them)! Prices for this suite can be found as low as $260 after the holidays.

6. Miami - Water View One Bedroom Suite, EPIC, a Kimpton Hotel
Epic, which was named to the Condé Nast Gold List in 2013, is one of Miami's hottest yet most affordable luxury hotels. Here, the Water View One Bedroom Suite offers not only sweeping views of the Atlantic, but also a hydrotherapy tub, a balcony, free wifi, a separate living room with a sofa bed (in case the party is at your place), and of course, a 42 inch flat screen TV. Prices for this suite start at $339 per night during the low season.

7. Washington DC - One Bedroom Suite, The Ritz-Carlton
Spending money and Washington DC go together like peanut butter and jelly. But if it's your own money you're spending, you can still live like a fat cat without breaking the bank at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC, which was one of only a handful of hotels in the US awarded 5-diamonds by AAA in 2012. The One Bedroom Suite is 900 square feet and features a bedroom with attached master bathroom, an additional guest bathroom, and views of DC's upscale West End. The Langham Huntington Pasadena keeps a lower profile than its glitzy neighbors in Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but its five-star service and reasonable prices are hard to beat.
