After 2 Bone Marrow Transplants, Little Girl In Hospital Captures Hearts With Inspiring Song

This video is everything!

If you’ve been feeling down lately, let this little girl provide a glimmer of hope and inspiration.

California mom Lindsay Chapman-Carroll posted a video on Facebook that shows her 4-year-old daughter Leah singing and dancing to “Overcomer” by Christian singer Mandisa.

Leah has severe congenital neutropenia, a rare disorder characterized by low levels of a certain type of white blood cell, which can lead to frequent infections. As Lindsay noted in the caption for her video, Leah has spent over 10 months “away from her family and mostly in the hospital,” and undergone two bone marrow transplants.

Her mom shared the video on Mandisa’s Facebook page, where it reached over 10 million views. The singer herself saw the video and commented.

“Omigosh! It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes, and joy to my soul!” she wrote. “Lifting up prayers for Leah right now!”
