When the stock market's numbers go south,
"Our alibi's strong!"
"We were right all along!"
As the words tumble out of their mouth:

Tell your papas and your mamas
That the mess is all Obama's,
It's our favorite play:

This S&P fuss? "Just blame him, don't blame us!"
For the loss of that Triple-A score,
The facts are so clear

"It's on him!" And we'll shout it some more:

And the only thing to notice
Is the fault is all on POTUS,
'Cause it's plain as day

The market's big shock'll be someone's debacle,
Investors will want someone's head,
While voters, outraged,
Can be likewise engaged,
Once we've looked toward the Oval and said:

There's no angle in the middle,
Let it burn! We'll grab a fiddle,

A Wall Street collapse? It won't land in our laps
If we beat ev'ryone to the punch,
