This is about to make up for that rain on your wedding day, the free ride when you already paid or whatever other depressing scenario you can think of.
Before closing out "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday, Alanis Morissette did something that we're still having a hard time believing actually happened. She took to the stage with Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor and performed "Ironic" in a chicken costume using nothing but clucking. Was anything about it really ironic? Eh, no. Does anything about it make sense? Erm, negative. But do we even care? Uh, hells no!
There were probably some people out there who told Morissette not to wear a chicken costume on "The Tonight Show," but that's good advice she just didn't take. And for that, we thank you.
"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
