Bernie Sanders Meets Doc Brown, Sees The Future On Jimmy Kimmel

Sanders also shows off his impersonation skills.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders got to celebrate "Back to the Future Day" with Jimmy Kimmel and Christopher Lloyd on Wednesday.

Sanders appeared on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” where the host asked the independent senator from Vermont about legalizing marijuana, free college and his campaign outlook.

Sanders took a picture with Lloyd, the actor who played Doc Brown in "Back to the Future," to commemorate "Back to the Future Day." Lloyd was also a guest on Kimmel’s show Wednesday evening.

In the film, Doc Brown asks Marty McFly, "Tell me, future boy, who's president of the United States in 1985?" McFly responds, "Ronald Reagan."

"Back to the Future" has made a few uncanny predictions before, but the jury is still out on whether Sanders will be president in 2017. (Representatives for Lloyd could not be reached for an official prediction Thursday.)

At the end of the night, Kimmel asked Sanders how he felt about Larry David's impersonation on "Saturday Night Live,” to which the senator replied, "Well, I thought it was pretty, pretty, pretty good!”
